LIFTO YE Community Service: LIFTO x Stand Up For kids
We require our Y.E.’s to do community service because we believe giving back is an important part in achieving success. It also teaches gratitude and gets teens in the habit of giving back.With these 3 components we hope to create a MEASURABLE CHANGE in the youth involved in our program. We have seen a tremendous amount of change in perception for all our youth that have been involved in all three components. The Y.E.S has proven itself to be an instrument of exposure and change in the kids we serve.In addition to INTERNSHIPS, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND MENTORING GROUPS, The Y.E.S is also the driving force in LIFTO as a whole..They market LIFTO, come up with program and fundraising projects. We INVOLVE the kids in developing programs for LIFTO because no one knows what kids need like kids themselves.
